When in doubt, Cher it out || A Clueless Monday

It is finals week in college world Breedazzled Babes!  Monday was my last day and I had noooo idea what to wear for my final entrepreneurship presentation of the semester. Therefore, I turned to my main rich white girl, Cher Horowitz, for some serious outfit inspiration. Lesson learned; When in doubt, Cher it out.

Beanie Baby || Winter’s bestcessorie

Winter is unfortunately around the corner and the temperatures in gross as fuck Jersey are lower than the average slut’s standards MEANING it is pretty fucking cold here. For someone like myself, who spends time outside while walking to & from Port Authority and my college, FIT, I need accessories that are warm but most importantly cute. I would rather be cold than look like shit, just sayin’. Anyways, I consider beanies to be winter’s bestcessorie  because they are cute, warm, and they hide my ratchet-as-fuck hair when I do not feel like doing it which in the winter is basically every day. I actually prefer the way they look with my ratchet wavyish curly hair than with strait hair because it goes with the whole tryna-be-hipster-but-not-really vibe of the beanie. Don’t own a Beanie? Scroll down to see my picks!

Handbag Whore || A Fashion Girl Video

I am a fucking Whore. A Handbag Whore that is. Since the age of 11 I have obsessed over these pretty little box-type things we drape over our shoulders, dangle on our wrists, and sling across our bodies, The Handbag. Here is a short peek at my expensive as fuck collection of Handbags.

Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show With The Lovely Lisa Versacio

Kind of hidden between Fashion Avenue & the Avenue of Americas ( 7th & 6th respectively but the names sound more enticing than the numbers) on the 18th street in Manhattan at about 12:02 pm today I met up Lisa Versacio, my lovely friend, mentor and fashion mom for an afternoon full of old clothes & new news. If you have not heard of this show — or Lisa Versacio — then you should probably Google them both because in the world of fashion they are a big fucking deal. Lisa caught me up on her next fashion girl project, the previous being Brocade Home, a company she created to fill a need in the market for pretty furniture. I lamely use the word pretty because in my eyes it is just that. My room is decorated with many of her pieces and I feel like when I try to describe the style of the furniture, I contradict myself. It is feminine but not girly, ornate but not fancy, modern but not cold. Lisa created a feminine focused brand of very pretty furniture and then decided it was time to get back to her roots — fashion.

This was my second year attending the show with Lisa, and when I received her invite via text just the other day, my heart kinda stopped. I had just been reminiscing about last years show when I found some pictures on my laptop. Of course there are those annoying signs with the slash going through the camera around the whole GINORMOUS room but do you honestly think that stopped me from snapping away? What can I say, I like pretty pictures and ||  I . will . snap . as . I .  please . || Anyways, the show is made up of about 90 vintage clothing vendors all there to sell past decades in clothing form to fashion crack addicts like myself. Let’s just say my father is lucky I did not have his credit card on hand because my brain, made up of Chanel instead of cells, would have told me to spend “Trump Money” on clothing to create for myself a closet full of history lessons, particularly the events of the 60’s and 70’s. My father of course would not agree that buying vintage clothing is the best way to educate myself on history and would then suggest a trip to Barnes and Noble to buy – perhaps – a history textbook. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE Barnes, but history books are always so boring and wordy. I would rather wear history than read about it which is exactly what I imagine myself doing once I earn some “Trump Money” of my own. Or at least some money in general. I admired the clothing, jewelry and shoes vendor by vendor, and at the same time I was daydreaming about coming to this show in ten years and being able to finally educate myself on history. And by educate I mean purchase lots & lots of pretty things. Someone once said “Out with the old and in with the new” but I really like the old, when it comes to clothing at least, because when I purchase new clothing I do not feel it has a soul. Everything about “New Fashion” from the industry itself to the trends and designs are different from how it was back then. There is something about a rainbow sequined shift dress from the 20’s that feels so alive. Vintage clothing, unlike anything new, has a soul & I am a chick that is always soul searching, one gold Chanel chain at a time…

|| Left: My Outfit Of The Day which I took in my room in my Brocade Home mirror. How precious is it? Perfect for my innumerable amounts of mirror selfies. Right: Mirror selfie at last years Vintage clothing show. Yes, I purposely wore the same handbag, my vintage inspired, cherry red Marc Jacobs bag. It is only appropriate to look a little “vintagy” at a vintage show dontcha think ?!  I Also wore a vintage Versace inspired necklace from Topshop, A faux leather jacket from Topshop, Black jeggings from Forever 21, and a denim top by Blank NYC from revolveclothing.com. Last year, I wore a leopard free people jacket and an American Apparel rosette top, you cannot really see it in the picture but even if I did not have a picture I would remember because I am really weird like that. ||

|| Here are some pics from last years show. I suppose they are now vintage pics from a vintage show. hehe. ||

Breedazzled on the Beach II A Mini Photo Shoot with my Sister

About a year ago I forced asked my sister if she would partake in a little “Breedazzled” beach photo shoot. It was during a trip to Naples, Florida, which is located on the Gulf of Mexico in the Southwest part of the state. During that trip I was very inspired by the serenity of the area and created lots of jewelry pieces. I wanted to use the beauty of my surroundings to capture pictures of my designs, and so a photo shoot took place. Here are some fashion girl pictures of “Breedazzled on the Beach“… Xo    b

Fashion Finds II Forever 21 II 10.18.13

Although the mass selection of clothing & accessories can be “finals week overwhelming”, Forever 21 has so many amazing, innexpensive finds that it is worth the mini anxiety attack you get when shopping there. I quickly walked through their Union Square location yesterday and snapped a few pics of my finds. >>>  SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW MY F21 FAVES  <<<

20131019-151121.jpgII   An army inspired outfit I put together   II  Perfect for a girls night out     II

II    Yes, the Alexander McQueen inspired, kinda hard to walk in shoes are necessary for this punk couture look   II

20131019-151724.jpgII    An outfit I would rock to school. The denim is super stretchy, making your look not only cute but comfortable as well.    II   Of course I added some breedazzled bracelets to complete the ensemble.    II

20131019-152118.jpgII    I like the way these outfits were styled. Eye catching details: The flannel peeking out from under the military jacket. Also, the addition of a baseball cap to a tom-boyish look which would hide my bed headish hair I almost always seem to have.   II
