April Fashions & Celeb Look For Less

Hello Babes, I have been a little MIA with the blog posts but I am BAACCCK bitches! It is the end of April (Thank Breezus) because this winter has been cold AF. Bikini season is quickly approaching so if you have been hitting the cookie jar instead of the gym, I suggest you stop that shit, like, yesterday… Anyways, here are some fashions I would like to share, and a celeb look for less. Enjoy the rest of your April, talk to ya soon! XX B

I love this floral printed top I recently purchased from Urban Outfitters. It is maroon which is a color that is out of my comfort zone (because it is not white, black or gray) and I actually ended up liking it a lot! I paired it with a Breedazzled necklace which you can purchase here.

IMG_0719

But then I said “Fuck Maroon” and went back to my comfort zone in an all white ensemble. I recently purchased these “Boyfriend Jeans” from Pacsun and they are by Brandy Melville. I paired them with a plain white long sleeved top and had my Free People  lace bralette peeking out for a little “sexy, sexy” to counteract my tomboy look.

IMG_0301

If you don’t own a pair of One Teaspoon jeans, you probably should. My “Free Birds” are my fave pair of jeans and I paired them with a green tee I recently purchased at American Eagle for under 10 dollars! I threw an old flannel over it and put on a dope pair of kicks & I was ready to hang, or should I say swing, with my cousin Zach!

IMG_1018

An Outfit I wore for a night out in the 305. Lace bell bottoms are a huge trend this spring. I bought this pair at Gypsy Warrior and surprisingly they fit my midget self perfectly, no hemming required (Thank Breezus). I added what I call a “Fashion Hat” which I purchased a while ago at TOPSHOP for extra coolness. I loved this look, and def need to repeat this outfit at some point!

IMG_0293

Last but not least, my celeb look for less! I loved this outfit that Kim K rocked while out with Yeezy & North for a day of family fun. I was also out for a family day of fun when I rocked her look for less. I purchased cutoff shorts similar to hers from Forever 21. It was not a super warm day, so I wore a Brandy Melville sweater over a white tee, lace up sandals (because I am NOT a high heeled kinda gal like Kim, I can’t walk in them…) and my signature Ray Ban shades.

Hope you enjoyed my fashions! Happy Shopping 🙂

New Year, New Clothes, New You

Happy New Year BABES!

I Hope everyone rang in 2015 sipping chugging a glass of champagne, rocking tight black pants & dancing with some baes. I know I did! Anyways, I am not a fan of the whole “New Years Resolution” thing because I prefer to work on myself every day of the year & do not need the excuse of a “New Year” to better myself. To me, 2015 will be another year of working out, eating healthy (most of the time), being kind (also most of the time but I can’t control PMS or people that piss me off) & working on my career. However this year is also a little different, in a very awesome way. I will officially enter the fashion world having just received my Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship from the Fashion Institute of Technology AKA the “Harvard of Fashion” (I like that better because it makes me sound ivy league-ish). I am pumped for this new chapter in my crazy ass book of life and have never been more excited for a new year than I am for 2015. So what I am going to do this year, and no this is not a resolution because unlike many “avid resolutioners” I am actually going to do this, is KICK ASS. Not literally because I’m like Buddhist and don’t believe in human violence really. But kick ass in the fashion industry and in every aspect of my life. And I advise you all to do the same. Start living the life you imagine because as Buddha said “What you think, you become.” Now here are some fashions, if you were slacking on your outfit game in 2014, time to amp up your wardrobe. Happy Shopping!

20150104-144242.jpg

To Dark Horse Lounge in Morristown, NJ I go. It was my friend Rosanna’s  birthday & apparently I woke up on the hipster bitch side of the bed that day. Top is from Forever 21, leggings are from Urban Outfitters. Accessorized with my Rayban glasses, Converse high tops, Chanel handbag & Breedazzled jewelry.

20150104-144327.jpg

I tried to find a cute dress for my Grad party at the Brownstone (yes the real housewives of NJ Brownstone)  but had no luck. I rocked a sequin crop top & faux fur jacket from Forever 21, high waisted skinnies from Urban Outfitters & Breedazzled jewelry.

20150104-144443.jpg

Makeup of the night was Chanel. I found the most perfect faux crystal necklace from forever 21 for 4.80 that added some bohemian-ness to my sequin top. **CRYSTAL NECKLACES ARE SUCH A TREND RN**

20150104-144518.jpg

I wore these super cute combat boot heels from Forever 21 which you can slightly see in this pic. My sister (far right) looked hot in her Brandy Melville tee, Forever 21 faux fur vest and Target stockings.

20150104-144757.jpgMyself and my girl Kayla taking our last mirror selfie of 2014. I wish everyone a happy, healthy, wealthy & stylish New Year!

PS: If you were a really big BITCH in 2015, and trust me it happens Breezus does not judge,  Buddha has some words for you entering the new year…

20131028-081403

Ok, Buddha did not say that, but still try!

It may be cold but you should still look HOT

Tis the season of furry coats & beanies, it’s winter BITCHES! Well, technically it’s still fall but winter starts on the 21st which is in like a minute soooo.. Anyways, winter fashion. How do you look cute and stay super warm at the same time? You don’t. And when one is forced to choose fashion over function, one chooses fashion. ALWAYS. There is nothing cute about those intense winter marshmallow-like jackets or Ugg boots. They are called Ugg for a reason, although comfy, they are fucking ugly. Keep them in the house ladies, they hurt my eyes. Here’s what I have been rocking lately. If I can pull myself together and galavant around Manhattan like I’m not cold and miserable, you can do it too. Stay strong my fashion friends.

PS: A little wine before you leave your cozy home and brave the cold always helps. Or a lot of wine. Your choice, Breezus doesn’t judge.

Another PS: Forever 21 has the most AMAZING faux furs. There really is no reason to wear real fur, faux is way cheap and not an animal! Like I said, Breezus doesn’t judge BUT….  Pro Faux!

20141214-145605.jpg

What I rocked to the office on my last day as a sales & showroom intern.  Faux fur jacket which I recently purchased on forever21.com, I am obsessed with it! I paired it with my beaded Parker jacket which is seen peeking out underneath, a marble gray top, faux leather joggers from forever 21 and my combat boots.

20141214-145702.jpg

A night out in the city. Ripped jeggings from American Eagle. Gray sweater from forever 21, moto jacket from TopShop. Also, combat boot heels from forever 21 (not shown).

20141214-145725.jpg

A close up of my new fave, reindeer-like jacket worn with a brandy melville beanie.

20141214-145755.jpg

Off to Santa Con!  Red checkered blouse from LF (bought during their sale, duh!), thermal from free people & an arm full of breedazzled bracelets as well as a lokai bracelet.

20141214-145817.jpg

Paired with black jeggings of course!

20141214-145852.jpg

Sami’s birthday celebrations at BBar! I rocked a gypsy top from threadsence.com (New shoppers get 20 % off! ), ripped jeggings from American Eagle (same pants from outfit above, they are my fave) , Botkier handbag from a ZILLION years ago (but still fab)….

20141214-145917.jpg

And topped it off with a hat! And breedazzled.

20141214-150010.jpg

And for my final exams…. sweats OBVS. Even in comfy attire, your jewelry game still must be on FLEEK. Necklace from Urban Outfitters, sweatshirt was a gift from my bestie. Choker (top necklace) is breedazzled.

20141214-150102.jpg

Sweatshirt from Urban Outfitters. Ornate slave bracelet by breedazzled.

That’s all the fashions for now. Wishing everyone much peace, love & fashion during the Holiday Season. And if you haven’t finished your present shopping yet, I know just the website you should check out…. CLICK HERE !

Fall Fashions: lots of black & bling

I cannot believe it is the end of October! This busy semester filled with tons of homework and long hours of interning is flying by. Luckily, I graduate in December and will soon be on to the next phase of my life. In the meantime, I wanted to post some fashion pics of my recent outfits because I miss blogging and sharing my style. Below are some fall fashion inspirations, hope everyone has a spectacular weekend! Xx B

20141024-121248.jpg

I Love this “AIN’t LAURENT without yves” sweatshirt I bought last winter from Pac Sun. I cut off the bottom (not pictured) so it is kind of cropped. I paired it with my Breedazzled bracelets, statement ring, statement necklace from Urban Outfitters, and leather leggings and I was off to my internship!

20141024-121338.jpg

I wore this last weekend to a friend’s apartment for a get together. My ripped jeans are by One Teaspoon and are kinda rockstar-ish which I LOVE! My blouse is from Urban Outfitters and my black oversized back is Tylie Malibu. And of course, the long gold beaded necklace I am rocking is Breedazzled.

20141024-121452.jpg

This outfit is so comfy! I wore it to my internship on a rainy day. My dark gray cargo pants are from Urban Outfitters last year. My black belt is from American Eagle, I bought it for 8 dollars (they have the best sales) and my fancy sweatshirt is by free people.

20141024-121601.jpgThis is what I look like at my internship if it is NOT raining. My Steve Madden combat boots, two dresses layered (nude dress is Brandy Melville & black is Gypsy Warrior, a denim jacket from Forever 21, and some Breedazzled bracelets.

In the heat with a blue jean girl

“Those crazy nights, I do remember in my youth. I do recall, those were the best times, most of all, in the heat with a blue jean girl…”Stone in Love : Journey

I think it is safe to say that the “blue jean girl” Journey is referring to is me. Okay, maybe not considering they are a way old band and I am certainly not as vintage as them. But I am definitely a blue jean girl and have some pretty memorable moments wearing denim. I was rocking dark wash True Religion skinny jeans (back when they were cool) when I first got kissed.  I remember LOVING those jeans, the guy not so much… Anyways, below are some of my recent outfits, all including denim of course. Take a look!

20140823-221531.jpg

On Wednesday I had to go into school for a meeting with my advisor & this is what I wore. My absolute favorite white blouse which has a twist in the front and long hem in the back. I love when classic pieces are changed up a bit, with an added special something to the design. This top is by Urban Outfitters and I bought it recently so if you love it, go buy it! My jeans are 7 for all Mankind. Since this outfit is pretty basic, I wore eye catching gold gladiator sandals by Sam Edelman. I bought these sandals last month at Nordstrom Rack for 50 percent off the normal retail price, what a steal! As for accessories, I stuck to my beachy basics which include a crochet bag, Rayban Aviators and breedazzled bracelets.

20140823-221558.jpg

On Thursday I went to the Jersey Shore for the night with my mom and sister. I wore my “More Issues Than Vogue” Muscle tank (which was longer until I cut it). It was a gift from my bestie from Nordstrom, she clearly knows me too well. I paired it with cutoff shorts by One Teaspoon, a coin statement necklace from Urban Outfitters and breedazzled bracelets.

20140823-221657.jpg

Saturday night I headed to Blu Alehouse, a super fun bar, with my besties for an end of summer bitches night out. I got to wear my new dress by Billabong which has the most adorable denim collared top. I paired it with lace up open toe sandals from Urban Outfitters, breedazzled bracelets & a braided headband which is super easy to do! Instructions below.

20140823-221727.jpg

A better look at the print on the dress.

20140823-221756.jpg

To make a braided headband out of your hair you will need 2 tiny clear elastic bands and a few bobby pins that match your hair color. Put your hair in a pony tail excluding 2 portions of hair, one on each side of your head close to your ear. braid those pieces and tie them each with an elastic band. Take one of the braids and place it over your head where you would normally wear a headband and pin. Take the other piece and do the same. Take out your pony tail and you are ready to rock. It takes about 3 minutes and is a super cute style that adds bohemian glam to your look.

Weekend Outfits: to the bar I go

I feel as though every person on this planet besides myself has an August birthday. I love celebrating birthdays, even when they aren’t my own, because birthdays mean booze drinking and I am always down for that. I celebrated the birth of two humans this weekend which means it was filled with too many Gin & Tonics and nights out at Sushi Lounge & Hoboken. Here is what I wore…

20140809-152155.jpg

I am a pretty simple dresser in terms of clothing, accessories are more my shit. Why accessories are better? They always fit and they can transform an outfit quickly, easily and in a budget friendly manner. Denim Vest: Guess (stolen from my sisters closet, thanks Gab). Top: LF (also stolen from my sisters closet). Shorts: OneTeaspoon (those are actually mine & are my fave pair of shorts EVER). Shoes: Coach (stolen from my mom’s closet).

20140809-154548.jpg

I like to wear tons of rings because hey, a man hasn’t put a ring on it yet so I have to leave that shit up to myself. As for my bracelets, the white one is called a Lokai bracelet and promotes balance. I definitely recommend purchasing one if you are a spirit junkie like myself. The other two are my own designs, Breedazzled.

20140809-154631.jpg

My other hand was adorned with my favorite new rings. I just purchased the moon and star ring from Urban Outfitters for 16.00. I now wear it every day! The statement ring on my middle finger was only 3.00 at a costume jewelry store in NYC, such a steal!

20140810-120646.jpg

For my second night out, a bar crawl in Hoboken, I wore an old pair of 7 for all mankind jeans with a top I just purchased by Free People. Usually Free People is expensive but Bloomingdales currently has their sale items marked an additional 40-50 percent off so hurry there if you want this top! My shoes are by Chinese Laundry from Nordstrom and I wear them way too often.

20140810-120801.jpg

A side view of the shirt, the high-low hem is super popular at the moment. I love the low hem in the back because it covers my ass just in case my panties are showing when I sit at the bar, so thats always a plus!

20140810-120901.jpg

Absolutely LOVE this statement necklace I wore from Forever 21. This was another stolen item from my mom’s closet, shhhh. The other two necklaces are the Hamsa and Evil Eye and are my every day shit. A bitch needs protection!

Outfit of the Night: Grad Party at the Brownstone

I think the first thing a girl thinks when getting an invite in the mail for a party at a fancy-ish place is ” What am I going to wear?” Well, that’s what my first thought was when I received an invite for a graduation party at the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ AKA the place that is on The Real Housewives of NJ. I proceeded to think “What am I going to get her” and by “her” I meant Gianna who just graduated from Fordham aka a smart person college. Anyways, instead of buying a new outfit which is what I used to do for things like this, I just dug through my wardrobe and put this together… PS the only expensive item on me is my shoes but even those were bought on sale.

Fancy-ish Grad Party Look For Less

20140617-092608.jpg

What I wore: Denim Jacket: Old Navy. Top: Urban Outfitters. Shorts: Zara (40.00, such a great find). Clutch: Imports from Marakesh (25.00, another steal! ) Long necklace & bracelets: Breedazzled. Not pictured: Jimmy Choo wedges that I wore to my high school prom.

20140617-092631.jpg

A closer look, I fell in love with the pretty floral lace detail on the side of the shorts. They can easily go from day to night time by rocking a tee shirt by day and a blouse type tank by night. Simple & Chic! XXx  B

Outfit of the Day: Brunch & Stuff

I was elated when my younger cousin Carly & her two friends adventured into NYC to visit me yesterday! We had the most amazing time walking around my neighborhood, the West Village and all around the surrounding areas. I may be biased, but my cousin and her friends are really amazing girls. Myself being 22 and the girls being 18 & 19, they are slightly younger than me yet I would totally hang with them all the time (that is if they want to hang with me) . Carly and her crew are smart, funny, put together and so happy. They radiate happiness! What a joy it was to bring them around the city and show them new things. Take a look below at some of the best moments of our day!

Xxx B

20140612-181641.jpg

Myself “B” left with Carly in the Meatpacking district. What I’m rocking: Vest: Urban Outfitters. Tank: Brandy Melville. Pants: Nike. Shoes: Converse. Bag: Marc Jacobs. Bracelets: Breedazzled. And a hippy headband from IDK where!

We wandered around the Village and spotted a super cute garden looking type restaurant that caught our attention named Olio e Piu. It was the perfect setting to have a nice little brunch with the girls and have a Vemma tasting sorrei….

20140613-133300.jpg

Cheers! The girls got to try Vemma Renew, which promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. Basically beauty in a bottle that tastes like OJ, how amazing ? You also see them clinking the Verve ParTea which is an “insanely healthy energy tea” and they absolutely loved it! Another drink we sipped at brunch was the Verve Zero Sugar which was perfect pre Manhattan tour considering how much walking we did and how much caffeine it contains (80 mg of natural caffeine) Woop!

20140613-133406.jpg

After brunch, we took our Breedazzled selves and wandered over to Chelsea Market AKA one of my favorite spots in Manhattan.

20140613-133445.jpg

There we explored the tiny, unique shops inside of the Market, which is actually a converted factory! The Morroccan shop is definitely a favorite place of mine. I visually spent about ten grand on textiles and silver platters. I really cannot afford my eyes….

20140613-133543.jpg

So many pretty things I can’t take it! I love the Hamsa, hand of god. I have a pretty silver Hamsa hanging over my doorway which was a gift & it brings a sense of protection to my apartment.

20140613-133613.jpg

Chelsea market also has “Artists and Fleas” where you can find some of the most amazing pieces of jewelry, vintage clothing, artwork and really cool shit you do not need!

20140613-133709.jpg

I was digging these graphic tees, how typical of myself. I had to refrain from buying the cutest half denim half tulle dress, I can always just make my own version !

20140613-133743.jpg10456245_871535689527470_401841847_n-1

Love the way the colorful art looks against the brick wall!

20140613-133754.jpg

Although we did not get any sweets, we did some sweet window shopping!

20140613-133814.jpg20140613-133835.jpg

Once we got through Chelsea Market, we headed back to my apartment for some mid afternoon Verve MoJoe, which happens to be my favorite Verve drink. Since trying the Mojoe, a coffee drink that is non dairy & made with coconut cream, I no longer want the other coffee I was drinking. It is THAT good!

20140613-133903.jpg

After coffee, I had to go to Algebra class, EW! So the girls headed down to Soho! But not before playing with the puppy, Monte. Monte is Marissa’s 10 week old boxer who came for an NYC visit this week!

DIY Sweet Gift Bag

I love, love, love celebrating birthdays. Of course my own is my fave, but I also love celebrating the birthdays of my friends. After all, they add fabulosity to my life so it’s a good thing they were born.

When a friend’s birthday rolls around I like to make them something special to show them how much I appreciate them in my life. Last week, Amy turned 22. For her gift, I made her a breedazzled butterfly bangle because every girl deserves something pretty to wear on their special day. I had a gift bag that I saved from a gift I had received ( I save all gift bags & tissue paper, why buy when people give to you for free ?) and so I planned on using that bag to hold Amy’s gift. It was just a plain bag & I decided it needed to be a little more fun. HMMM… what’s more fun than candy? I had a bunch left over from another gift so I decided to use that to make a very sweet birthday bag, literally. Here’s how I did it…. Xxx b

20140530-010518.jpg

Getting started: I purchased candy & a roll of thin, silver duct tape from party city. If you have a hot glue gun, you can use that instead of the tape to adhere the candy to the bag (whatever is easier for you).

20140530-010552.jpg

step 1: I found a birthday quote picture on tumblr, printed it & taped down all four sides of the paper onto the bag, creating a tape border around the picture.

step 2: I taped on 2 lollipops & a little silver bouquet of fake flowers that I usually use to make breedazzled floral crowns.

step 3: I cut the handles off and made Twizzler handles. I used one piece of tape for each handle to attach both ends of the Twizzler onto the bag.

20140530-010629.jpg

Step 4: I turned the bag around to the other side & attached another quote.

Step 5: Below that picture I taped on a Miss Piggy Pez dispenser (can you say TBT) and two ring pops. The ring pops were extremely necessary because what girl doesn’t want a huge rock to wear on their birthday?

Step 6: After I attached the second handle I taped an Airhead onto the bag over the bottom edges of the Twizzler.

Finishing touches: I grabbed some fun tissue paper and stuffed her sweet bag with sweets! And breedazzled arm candy of course. Considering it was raining, I wanted to make sure Amy had an umbrella ( she was wearing white, eeeek ) . I attached a cocktail umbrella inside the bag using tape.

20140530-010652.jpg

The bag was such a hit that Amy made sure to coat check it so that way she would’t lose it, aww! I’m so happy she liked it! Amy’s chic, white cocktail dress is by Burberry, she fancy huh!

20140530-010716.jpg

As for my attire of the night, I was feeling 50 Shades of Grey after the shitty weather all day ( I am a sunshine kind of person ).  So yea, I wore grey and black, SHOCKER!

20140530-010737.jpg

TEE: Chaser Brand. No it did not get caught it the wash, it totally came destroyed like that only I did cut off the sleeves because I felt like it. BRAVictorias secret, the studs looked super glam peeking through the holes in my shirt. SKIRT: H&M a billion years ago. It is pleather and I paid about 20.00 for it, what a bargain! A simple, sexy pleather mini is ALWAYS a good idea. ACCESSORIES: I always have my breedazzled on but my main jewelry attraction of the night was my coin statement necklace from Urban Outfitters which I call my “dime piece.” Coin necklaces are super in style at the moment and if you don’t have one, you probably should.

Well, that WRAPS up this post. Laters, baby.

NYFW Street Style || Get The Look

New York Fashion Week has come to an end and although I did not attend any shows, I feel as if I did through the many social media posts by the celebrities in attendance and the designers. I also viewed many of the collections via WWD which  I stalk for hours and hours in bed every fashion week instead of doing homework. However, I could not seem to make a post of my favorites because there were just too many so instead I picked my favorite images of the NYFW “street style” and curated my own version of their looks. I would love to know which look is your fave and where you would rock it so leave a comment! Enjoy babes, and get your shop on.  Xx  b
